Branding for a mountain retreat property in the heart of the Japanese Alps, Hakuba, Japan. The logo was designed around the feature Kaede (Maple Leaf) Tree that stands proud at the front of the property. Working closely with the owners, we developed several iterations. The final design provides insight into the property’s inviting and friendly atmosphere, it reflects the surrounding nature of the Hakuba Valley and conveys the property’s architecturally fresh and clean aesthetics.

The holiday home also offers many outdoor adventures in the local valley including, snowboarding, hiking and mountain biking. The ‘Outdoor Enjoyer’ logo was developed to encompass all available activities, while not being seasonally specific. It was essential for the logo to work in conjunction with the Kaede House branding, as they will often be represented together.
